Jan Kyncl is a saxophonist and composer who is one of the outstanding faces of the young Czech jazz generation. He regularly collaborates with top Czech jazz and alternative music artists, both as a sideman and leader. Currently he is involved in the projects Jan Kyncl Quartet, Kyncl Culture, FaKyn, Kristina Barta Quartet, Jan Smigmator & Band, Jan Smigmator Big Band, Camoes House Band. He also collaborates with big bands such as the Jazz Dock Orchestra and the Gustav Brom Radio Big Band. In addition to his varied musical activities, he works as a music dramaturge at the Czech Radio.
