Vladimír Strnad is a long-time member of the chamber ensemble Kinsky Trio Prague, with whom he has recorded several CDs and toured extensively. He has also collaborated with many opera singers. His piano is heard in many Czech films (We Must Help Each Other, Beauty in Distress, I Served the King of England...). He plays with Jan Štolba Quartet, Petra Vlková band. She accompanies Eva Emingerová and Elena Suchánková. She plays regularly at jazz and swing festivals and accompanies many other jazz vocalists.

He has worked with Don Burrows, Dale Barlow, Paul Grabowsky, Bernie McGann, and James Morrison, and with many international jazz musicians, including Nat Adderley, Buddy Greco, Kenny Kirkland, Claire Martin, Jack Parnell, Mark Murphy and Petra Haden. He has been featured on over 100 albums.
