Jiří Polydor Sextet will perform with Eva Emingerová at U Staré paní. The group around jazz pianist Jiří Polydor plays classic swing, inspired by the golden era of the 1930s and 1940s, the music of Teddy Wilson, Fats Waller, Lester Young or Coleman Hawkins. In addition to classic pieces, the repertoire also includes interesting, lesser-played compositions by Wardell Gray or Leonard Feather. The group is made up of experienced soloists who have passed through well-known Prague jazz bands during their career.
