The duo consisting of members of The Blackbird Quartet will play at the club U Staré paní. Blackbird Quartet is a jazz project of singer Barbora Kafková and pianist Dušan Kovačević. Each of the founding members brings their own musical influences and experience to the project, with Barbara bringing the traditional vocal jazz quartet sound, as on recordings by Sarah Vaughan, Anita O'Day and Carmen McRae, and Dusan bringing a traditional jazz sound and approach, as well as more modern harmonies and arrangements.
