Adam Doucha is a Czech guitarist.
Mikuláš Pokorný ()
During his studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Academy of Music in Prague, the Janáček Academy in Brno and the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa in Lisbon, Mikuláš Pokorný has been or still is a leader or sideman in several groups and projects (Laco Deczi & Celula New York, Jan Smigmator, Los Quemados, Mikuláš Pokorný Trio).
Jan Kořínek ()
Jan Kořínek is a Czech double bassist and pedagogue.
He is a graduate of HAMU and Japan's Toho Gakuen Orchestra Academy. From 2004 to 2010 he was a member of the double bass group of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, then a member of the Berg Chamber Orchestra. At the same time Kořínek is active on the jazz and improvisation scene, he has played in clubs with Ondřej Kabrna, Najponek and Adam Tvrdý. He is no stranger to chanson, which he encountered as a sideman of Chantal Poulain.
He founded the Jan Kořínek Trio, in which the double bass not only plays an accompanying role, but also assumes the role of a melodic instrument. Kořínek's bandmates include pianist Stanislav Mácha and drummers Petr Nohavica and Jan Linhart. Kořínek's trio aims to build on the music of such luminaries as Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, Hampton Hawes and Bill Evans. He teaches double bass and improvisation at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and College of Music.
