Absolventský koncert: Adam Veselý

Monday 07. 04. 2025, 20:00

On April 7, the Bebop Quintet will perform at the Old Lady Jazz & Cocktail Club. The band was formed under the leadership of guitarist Adam Vesely, who assembled it from students of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. The ensemble was created, among other things, for the purpose of his graduation concert. The band's repertoire focuses exclusively on bebop, especially the works of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. This genre was central to Adam Vesely during his six years of study at the conservatory, and he sees his graduation concert as a tribute to these jazz masters. The programme will also include pieces from the earlier jazz period and the works of Antonio Carlos Jobim, with Tereza Skalická as guest. Band line-up: - Adam Veselý - guitar - Ondřej Vlášek - alto saxophone - Robert Forejtek - tenor saxophone - David Krpálek - double bass - Jakub Eben - drums
