This duo of experienced musicians brings a repertoire based on the singer's original work. Dreamy ambient pop with poetic Czech lyrics will be performed in an acoustic chamber setting. The duo will complement their original work with uniquely arranged compositions by popular Czech and international songwriters. The program will include songs by artists such as Sting, Seal, Annie Lennox, and David Stypka. Michaela Jonczy is a singer and songwriter. She graduated from the Pilsen Conservatory and the Complete Vocal Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the fall of 2024, she released her debut album "Zůstaň stejná" (Stay the Same) and now performs her original repertoire in smaller clubs and cafés. She sings and contributes to the multi-genre performance ObnaŽENA (Uncovered Woman) by acrobat Iva Kolcun, is a soloist with the Maranatha Gospel Choir and Magnum Jazz Bigband, and also performs in David Bowie's musical Lazarus (Divadlo Komedie). As a vocalist, she collaborates with American singer Tonya Graves. Karel Bárta A guitarist who has been active on the Prague professional music scene for over 25 years. During that time, he has been involved in a large number of bands and projects. Thanks to his wide range of styles, he is also a sought-after guitarist "on call." He plays with Maranatha Gospel Choir, Tonya Graves, Marie Němcová, and others.
