This duo of experienced musicians presents a repertoire centred on the singer’s own compositions. The duo describes their repertoire of intimate songs with evocative Czech lyrics as an experiment: “We’re testing just how much poetry, personal stories and raw emotion the two of us can convey to you.” The musicians will complement their original set with their own distinctive interpretations of songs by Czech and Slovak female songwriters. The programme will include, for example, songs by Lenka Dusilová, Jana Kirschner and Kateřina Marie Tichá. Violinist Kryštof Bartošek will appear as a special guest.
